Kristine + Mark

Before Christmas my beautiful friend Kristine mentioned she would love to do a cool photoshoot of her and her husband Mark as a five year wedding anniversary gift.  I though it was fabulous gift idea.  Kristine and Mark love to entertain, are passionate about food and drink, and Kristine loves the whole Mad Men trend.  So we decided to do a stylized lifestyle session bringing in all those elements.

Rouge-Noir

A while back I once again collaborated with the fabulous Ange from Kenneth Blair in Lloydminster for another fun editorial photoshoot.  We decided to have some fun with this and go with a burlesque theme which we subsequently titled Rouge-Noir.  As was to be expected the models, Haley, Karlee, & Taylor, were fabulous and totally got into character which made it all the more fabulous to photograph them!

Ashley + Josh | Married

in

This past fall one of my closest friends Josh married his love, the very beautiful, Ashley.  Their wedding took place at the very gorgeous Greystone Gardens out in Spruce Grove and the location couldn't have been more awesome.  Out in the country with beautiful trees, a quaint bridge, and a very cool old garage, plus with a lot of open space we were able to park the amazing old school car in the area for some super fun photos.  A little rain for good luck even fell during the ceremony and photos but never once did it ruin the moment or fun times!

Krauss Family Slideshow

A while back I posted my favorites from the Karuss Family's awesome lake lifestyle session.  Well here is a slideshow with even more photos to check out :)

Health Foundation Lifestyle Sessions

Back in the fall I ran a promotion to help raise money for the Lloydminster Region Health Foundation (LRHF) by donation the session fees from family lifestyle sessions.  I had a great time with this and got to photograph some awesome families. Below I have posted some of my favorites from the lifestyle sessions, check them out!

Also, a big thank you to the wonderful families as $800 was donated to such a wonderful foundation that does so much for my home town of Lloydminster :)

Echo + Shay | Engaged

Well I am back after a very busy but wonderful Christmas season and after my family's annual Lake Louise New Years Trip, which was as always fabulous!

Tari-Lynn + Randy

in

Tari-Lynn + Randy were married on a beautiful day in August, the sun was shining, it was warm (this was actually rare this summer), the bride was stunning, really what more could you ask for.  Tari-Lynn and Randy met one night while both were out at a local bar.  Tari-Lynn did not want to go out that night after her work Christmas party but a co-worker, Christine, pushed her to come and well it's funny how things work out as she met Randy because of it.  They are such a great couple, so kind, so in love, it was a great time photographing them!

The Krauss Family

I photographed the Krauss family this summer at their family cabin at Loon Lake, Saskatchewan.  While the day did not start out perfectly with the clouds, wind, and slight rain it couldn't have turned out any better for photos!  I had so much fun photographing this family, I have gotten to know Katherine well this past year as we are both part of the local triathlon club but feel as though I got to know her family so much more from getting to photograph them.

Cailin + John | Engaged

Cailin and John met while both students attending Concordia University and last spring while on vacation in Mexico John proposed to Cailin.  I was very excited when I met with them about their wedding and became their photographer for their wedding and engagement photos.  I have actually known John for a very long time as I grew up and am very close friends with his older sister.  I love when I get to photograph people I know, there is already a level of comfort with each other and it's always to see people I know so happy!

Nancy + Dustin | Married!

in

Nancy + Dustin were married on such a gorgeous August day!  I love that they decided to do the first look and saw each other before the ceremony and had their photos all taken beforehand as well.  I love love first looks, they almost always make me tear up as there is something so sweet about seeing the groom's face when he sees his bride for the first time all dolled up and can actually express himself as it is just the two of them, well and me but I like to pretend I am somewhat invisible at these moments ;)
