After months of getting everything organized, uploaded, etc. I am very excited to announce the launch of J Squared Boudoir! This is a venture I am doing with my friend Jacqueline Laine who is an amazing make-up artist; we are boutique boudoir photography business based out of Edmonton and are all about making women feel beautiful about themselves inside. To accomplish this we have made it so every session is tailored to you. Our collections include the photography, make-up, styling, and hair so you don't have to worry about any of those little things :)

To celebrate our launch here is the first of three blog posts highlighting our first three clients. Today is all about the gorgeous Cindy! Check out some of our favorites from her session below!

Also I must give a huge thank you to William Halabi at The Beauty Lounge on Jasper Ave where all these sessions took place. He was so amazing and gave full reign of his salon for the sessions! Check out his super awesome salons here: http://www.getchromed.com/

If you or any of your friends are interested in a boudoir session please check out our website, http://www.jsquaredboudoir.com/, or send us an e-mail at info@jsquaredboudoir.com :)

Thanks, and hope you all have a most wonderful day! xo

Lindsay

Lindsay was another amazing boudoir client, she came in to have some photos taken for herself and her husband. As with most boudoir sessions, she was so nervous at the beginning but once she got into it, the nerves disappeared and all I can say is wow! She ordered an album with her photos and I cannot wait until it arrives, it's going to be so gorgeous!

I've posted some of my faves to check out. Also the last few photos we took so Lindsay could submit them to Oxygen magazine, they run a monthly feature on fitness and real people. I really hope she makes it in the magazine, Lindsay is super into fitness and it would be awesome for her to be featured!

Nancy

Nancy was our winner at the bridal show this year with the prize being a pre-bridal boudoir session. Having just given birth to a beautiful little girl Taylor only 6 months earlier she a was little nervous about the shoot but about 10 minutes into the session she relaxed and really got into it. Nancy is so beautiful and I totally think she resembles Jennifer Anniston in a couple of the pics! I've posted some the faves from the session to check out. I am totally falling in photography love with Boudoir, something about making a woman feel beautiful and seeing that confidence come out in the photographs is an amazing feeling!

Rhonda Boudoir

Well it is that time of year again... yes that would be Valentine's Day. I always find when I'm in a relationship what do you get your significant other on this day. With this wonderful boudoir trend going on in the photography world; what a great gift idea. I would say it definitely beats out the chocolates and flowers!

This was Rhonda's idea for a Valentine's Day present for her husband. Well actually she had the idea because her husband suggested it was time to update the boudoir photos Rhonda had done years ago. This is one of my favorite types of photography so I was very excited to meet Rhonda and capture her beauty for her husband. She is just a beautiful woman inside and out. Here are some of the favorites from our session... Enjoy!

Krystal

Back in December I had one of the most amazing boudoir photo shoots... Krystal came to me to have some boudoir portraits taken for her fiance for Christmas and I was pretty stoked. She is so beautiful and outgoing I knew it was going to be a fun shoot. As I predicted it was super fun, Krystal had some great outfits and ideas and when meshed with my ideas the results were amazing. I've wanted to post these photos for awhile now but since they were a Christmas gift, definitely did not want to ruin the surprise! Here are some of my faves from the shoot!

As Valentine's Day is coming up soon this is a great gift idea for the special someone ;)

Great Photos and what a beautiful girl!

I would first like to mention that this session with Jenna was one of comfort and absolute class. I have done several photo op over the years, and although this one was my personal choice, I felt a level of confidence and comfort that Jenna provided to me with the ut most professionalism. At first I was a bit shaky and out of practice in front of the lense, but withing a few minutes things were smooth, supportive and she made me feel beautiful after having two children with her encouraging guidence along the session. So, I would like to thank you Jenna for offering your suggestions, listening to mine, and having the vision I wanted to bring across in the photos fpr my sweetheart.
Thank you Jenna. I will definetly come to you in the future for more art that you provide.

You must really love your fiancé a lot? Nothing better than a close relationship shared by two people that truly love one another.

Jennifer

It definitely has been too long since my last blog.  My goal starting today is to make sure it is updated way more frequently!  Once a month is just not often enough!  Jennifer is actually one of our employees and I happened to mention one day at work how I would like to do more boudoir photography and she happily volunteered to be a model!  She is such a sweet person that I thought it was a great idea for her to model, plus her husband was pretty excited about it!  We had a lot of fun doing these photos and she is kind of shy and reserved so it was great to get her comfortable enough to leave her comfort zone and get some amazing photos. I've posted my faves from the session, check them out...
