Echo and Shay were married on a beautiful winter day in February, and what a gorgeous wedding it was.  The decor for the church and reception was beautiful with lots of candles, beautiful winter trees, chandeliers, everything looked amazing down to the smallest details.  Echo being the talented fashionista she is, even designed the gorgeous bridesmaids dresses.  I have now decided when my day comes I will be enlisting her skills!

On a beautiful day in March I met up with Kim and Landon for their winter engagement session at Budmiller Park in Lloydminster.  The sun was trying to peak through the clouds creating some beautiful light and luckily the snow decided to stick around for that day.  Normally having snow for photos would never be an issue during our Alberta winters, however this winter it seemed to not be so prominent.  Anyways, we had a lot of fun on the session, this couple was great to photograph!  I've posted some of the favorites from the session below to check out :)

I love winter lifestyle sessions, portraits in snow can look so gorgeous, so I was quite excited when Kelly contacted me back in January about photographing her beauitful family out at their acreage.  In this climate, winter photos can be very unpleasant if Mother Nature decides to be cruel and send extremely cold temperatures. Fortunately for the Mayner's she was in a kind mood that day and the only complaint came from their kitty Sammy who wasn't fond of having to walk in snow!
